There is something wonderfully offbeat and unique about new Danish musician Vakle, who has dropped new single 'BOY' online. Out 18th March on Back to the Future, she cuts a quirky mix somewhere between Grimes and All Saints with little talking sections and layered electronic breaks tumbling over each other throughout. Her slightly eccentric production is fully in her favour as 'BOY' is fully engrossing, fun and pensive all at the same time, going anywhere but where you expect it. With a creative flair and an apparent ability to not follow the pack, Vakle is an interesting entity right now. - SJ
